Witney MP Celebrates Care Home’s New Look
Residents were overjoyed to welcome Robert Courts MP into Churchfields recently to help celebrate our home’s refurbishment and new look.
The MP was treated to a tour of the extensive refurbishment, meeting staff and residents along the way, before officially opening the new courtyard garden.
Since taking over the home in March 2016, husband and wife owners, Jane and Gerry, have made a number of improvements in and around the residential care home. With work now complete, residents are enjoying refurbished bedrooms, a new dining room and extended sitting room, as well as ‘homely’ and comforting furnishings.
A scented courtyard completes the works, with an outdoor space that boasts beautiful views of the Oxfordshire countryside.
Robert Courts MP commented:
“Honoured to open the extended, refurbished Churchfields Care Home in Cassington. So many glowing tributes from residents and staff alike; my deepest congratulations to the whole team for everything they have achieved and the wonderful, warm home created – but particularly to the owner, Jane Roberts, for her drive, vision and passion.”
