Churchfields Care Home Opens New Tea Shop For Residents And Community

Cassington, Oxfordshire, Saturday 30th August

Residents, families, staff and local guests gathered at Churchfields Care Home on Saturday for the grand opening of the home’s brand-new tea shop.

The Deputy Mayor of Oxford cut the ribbon and joined in the celebrations, which included live music and a traditional afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes and scones from the home’s kitchen team. Guests also had the opportunity to explore, meet our staff and learn more about the concept behind the project.

A Cosy Space for Residents and Visitors

Made to feel homely and inviting, the tea shop offers residents a cosy place to enjoy everyday moments with loved ones. It will also serve as a community hub, inviting friends and neighbours to pop in and enjoy a cup of tea and chat.
