Churchfields Care Home in Cassington was proud to take part in this year’s Witney Festival, with staff and residents coming together to share what makes our home a truly special place. Our team set up a welcoming stall in the heart of the festivities, where passers-by were invited to learn more about the compassionate care we provide and the vibrant community we nurture every day.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for visitors to meet our dedicated team and some of our wonderful residents. Together, they shared heartfelt stories and experiences about life at Churchfields – a place where people don’t just receive care, but rediscover joy, purpose, and connection.

Many of the families we support have shared that our home has given them something they haven’t had in years – the chance to simply be a family again, rather than carers.
We pride ourselves on offering that safe, supportive space where everyone can thrive together. We’re not just a care home we’re one big family.
It was also a joy to see so many local businesses at the festival – many of whom we know and love from our regular Magic Moments outings and activities in the community. These trips are a treasured part of life at Churchfields, allowing our residents to stay connected with the wider world, enjoy meaningful experiences, and create lasting memories.

Sweet Treats, Sunshine & Summer Party Invitations
The community response at the festival was heart-warming. Visitors enjoyed chatting with us in the sunshine, sampling our delicious cupcakes and sweet cones, and taking home information about the services we offer. We also handed out special invitations to our upcoming Summer Party on 26th July at 2pm – an event that promises fun, friendship, and a true taste of Churchfields hospitality.
