Families Together at Churchfields for Mother’s Day
Churchfields Care Home marked this year’s Mother’s Day with an afternoon filled with families, tea and scones with plenty of time to sit and enjoy each other’s company.
Residents were visited by beloved family members throughout the day, with flowers, gifts and cards exchanged with lots of chatting and laughing.
The home had a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment families started arriving, and it was clear that for many residents, having their loved ones close by was the best part of the day.
Mother’s Day is one of those occasions that means something a little different to everyone, and at Churchfields, we think that is worth marking properly. It was a privilege to be part of it.
Happy Mother’s Day to every mum, grandmother and mother figure who calls Churchfields home, and to all the families who made the effort to come and celebrate with them yesterday.
